CSS Training (certificate of safety and rescue)
CSS is an official certificate issued by the DAC (Direction of the Civil aviation). It is required to exert the trade of air-hostess /steward in the Moroccan companies. It requires a whole of theoretical and practical bases necessary to the exercise of the function. It is obtained in two stages.
THEORY
The theoretical examination is presented in the form of two tests of questions at multiple choices the test known as Sécurité Rescue includes/understands 40 questions which relate only to one certain number of aeronautical knowledge such as: the regulation, air safety, meteorology, general instructions in flight, general instructions in the event of urgency, the general and specific equipment, preparation with the emergency landing, evacuation on ground and sea, survival and others… The test of the First aid lasts 30 minutes for 20 questions which relate primarily to the anatomy and the physiology of the human body, the aeronautical medium and the reactions of the organization (effects of altitude), contagious diseases and tropical, and first aid on board in all its forms: binding, recognition of the symptoms of the simple evil of belly to the peritonitis, and practice of the artificial reanimation and childbirth…
PRACTICE:
The two parts Safety and Rescue and First aid require the recognition of any equipment and material on board with the validity date and its uses, the reanimation which is practiced on a mannequin, bindings and fixed assets, swimming and the extinction of fire.
