«Flight, rotation, takeoff, positive variation, landing gear on entry…” This checklist is well-known among all those which made one day this dream of Icare: to become airline pilot. Those which are seen already in the clouds will have however to cling to reach this trade. To fly a plane requires many years of studies, much of drive and an iron constitution. The pilot must keep his coolness, in spite of the stress and the tiredness of the time shifts. The medical examinations thus mark out its career. Small natures to abstain from. Person in charge for safety for its passengers, and only Master on board, the pilot must control all kinds of unforeseen situations: air pockets, turbulences, bad weather, or bad visibility, glaze on the landing strip. The job starts besides with ground, with the preparation of the route, of meteorology, the checking of the fuel and the good state of the apparatus. Initially copilot, the airline pilot becomes commander after a few years of experiment. Anarchistic schedules, night-work, permanent stress are very largely compensated by passion to fly. The Airline pilot - Captain or pilot - must very carefully prepare his flight because the requirement of safety are obviously maximum: It is necessary to supervise the weather situation constantly, to dialogue with the control towers to take care of the consumption of the fuel, to face the unforeseen ones. It is about a prestigious but difficult trade which requires a physical and nervous resistance to any test: sleepless nights, time shifts, pressure related to the safety of the passengers.

• Total duration of the formation: 2 years (72 weeks) At the international airport of BENSLIMANE – CASABLANCA

Theoritical Training :

Practical Training :

• Duration of the training : 40 weeks

CONDITIONS OF CANDIDATURE

• To be old of more than 18 years
• Having a scientific level of study or scientific diploma
• To have an English level making it possible to dialogue and use English documents without particular difficulty
• Satisfy to the standards of medical aptitude class I
• Being found ready to follow the formation at the end of the selection trials
